Pietro Porporati

Pietro Porporati, born in Rome in 1996, graduated in Film Production at the Gianmaria Volonté School of Cinematic Art. His short films "Gabbia d’amore" (2017), "Cattività" (2018) and "Morte Stagioni" (2019) have been selected in numerous international festivals. In 2020 he co-directed the docu-series "Aria," a multi-voice account of the world's coronavirus pandemic. In 2022 he is among the directors of "Zona Protetta", a documentary series produced by Kon-Tiki Film and Rai Fiction, focusing on the lives of ten boys who have had experiences in communities for adolescents. In addition to his work as a director, he has been working in the production department in a number of important Italian film companies such as Vivo Film and Cattleya. His latest short film is "Metamorfosi" (2023).
