Submit your films to “Merlinka“ Film Festival
The 12th International queer film festival “Merlinka” will be taking place from 3-6 December 2020 in Belgrade Youth Center – Belgrade, Serbia.

We are accepting queer films from all over the world produced in 2019 and 2020 (with possible exceptions).

The films will be competing for:
Best Short Film
Best Documentary
Best Feature Film
Best Animated Film
Special Award for Serbian Film
Award for artistic courage
Audience Award for Best Ultra Short Film (Duration up to 5 minutes)

The main focus of this year’s festival will be Spanish queer cinema but this is not mandatory for official selection.

We invite film authors, as well as film arts students, to submit their films. The content of films submitted should be compatible with the festival’s framework (must be LGBTIQ-themed). Submission deadline is September 1, 2020.

Merlinka is non-profit festival and is organized by Gay Lesbian Info Centre (GLIC) in cooperation with Belgrade Youth Center.

Merlinka 12 – otvoren konkurs za filmove

Međunarodni festival queer filma „Merlinka“ počeo je da prima filmove koji konkurišu za takmičarsku selekciju na sledećem, dvanaestom po redu festivalu, koji će se održati od 3. do 6. decembra 2020. godine u Domu omladine Beograda.

Festival je posvećen filmovima koji se bave gej, lezbejskim, biseksualnim, transseksualnim, interseksualnim i queer temama.

Filmovi će se nadmetati za sledeće nagrade:
Najbolji kratki film
Najbolji dokumentarac
Najbolji igrani film
Najbolji animirani film
Specijalna nagrada festivala za srpski film
Nagrada za umetničku hrabrost
Nagrada publike za ultra kratki film (u trajanju do 5 minuta)

Filmski stvaraoci, kao i studenti filmskih umetnosti, mogu da prijave svoje filmove, koji sadržajno spadaju u okvire festivala, do 1. septembra 2020. godine.

Festival organizuje Gej lezbejski info centar (GLIC) u saradnji sa Domom omladine Beograda.
