Karni se oseća izdvojeno. Izdvojeno od sveta, njene zemlje, jezika, čak i od svog tela. Sve dok ne sretne Jessicu Blair kojoj je potreban odmor od bajkovitog američkog sna. Dok se neobavezno tumaraju nigdinom slučajno upoznaju dva konfuzna Izraleca i ova četvoročlana grupa luzera zajedno pokušava da se probije kroz pitanja o životu, sazrevanju, žvakaćim gumama i sebi samima. Kroz ovo jedinstveno poznanstvo, Karni će ponovo otkriti njen seksualni identitet kao i sasvim novu stranu njenog bića kao mesta u koje će se konačno uklopiti.
Karni Hamenam je rođena 1985. godine u Izraelu gde je i završila srednju filmsku školu i fakultet na kome je specijalizovala režiju i pisanje scenarija. U njenom prvom kratkom filmu “Stairway” iz 2009. godine glumila je čuvena izraelska glumica Hadas Yaron. Nakon što je 2012. godine u Velikoj Britaniji stekla diplomu na Londonskoj akademiji za muziku i dramsku umetnost vraća se u Izrael gde, inspirisana sopstvenim iskustvom, piše scenario, a zatim i režira igrani film “Fuck You Jessica Blair”.

Karni feels detached. Detached from the world, detached from her country, detached from her language and even her own body. That is, until she meets Jessica, who happens to be on a much needed break from her dreamlike American life. While getting lost in the middle of nowhere, the pair meet two bewildered Israelis, and this band of misfits wander their way through questions of life, age, chewing gum, and themselves. Through this unique acquaintance, Karni will rediscover her sexual identity and a whole different side to her being – a place she finally belongs in.
Karni Haneman (1985, Israel) has been studying Film-Making since high-school, where she majored as a Video Editor. She went on to get her B.F.A in Film-Making from Tel-Aviv University in Israel, where she majored as a Director and Screenwriter. In 2009, She wrote and directed a short film called “Stairway”, starring acclaimed Israeli actress, Hadas Yaron. In 2012, Karni moved to London and got a diploma from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), after graduating the Single Semester Classical Acting Course. She then came back to Israel to write and direct her first independent feature film, “Fuck You Jessica Blair”, which was inspired by this experience.
