Emilija se vraća u svoje selo nakon što je dugo živela u gradu. Raskid sa Anom, njenom devojkom, je ubrzao odluku. Ona se seli u kuću svoje majke i dobija posao kao nastavnik u školi. Postepeno, Emilija će se ponovo zbližiti sa ljudima iz sela kao što je bilo u prošlosti, ali takođe i sa osećanjima zbog kojih se odselila. Grad, za koji je Emilija uvek mislila da je statično i predvidljivo mesto, će postati prostor koji će joj dati novu šansu da redefiniše smisao svog života.

Emilia returns to her village after living a long time in the city. The break with Ana, her girlfriend, hastened the decision. She moves to her mother’s house and gets a job as a teacher at school. Gradually, Emilia will be reunited with the townspeople, with the affections of the past, but also with the feelings that made her emigrate. The town, which Emilia always found to be a static and predictable place, will become the space that will give her a new chance to redefine the meaning of her life.

“César was born in a small town in the Argentine Patagonia, called Sierra Grande. He studied cinematography and philosophy in Buenos Aires city where he currently lives. He has been working in the film industry for more than ten years.
In 2016 he made the short film “A woman in the forest” (Official Competition in Sitges). He’s also a book writer, in 2016 published “Sierra Grande” and “El Mar de los Lobos” in 2019, books that have been awarded. “Emilia” is his first feature film.”
