Zbog smrti svoje majke jedna žena se, nakon četrdeset godina, vraća u rodno selo. U rukama drži staru fotografiju na kojoj su majka sa dva sina. Na groblju mora da se suoči sa licima onih koje je ostavila za sobom.
Dimitris Katsimiris je rođen i odrastao na Rodosu. Radio je kao socijalni radnik. Poslednjih nekoliko godina živi i radi u Atini kao pozorišni glumac, pisac i reditelj. Napisao je dve pozorišne drame, a režirao je i višestruko nagrađivani film “Birthday”.

A woman returns, after 40 years, to the village where she was born. The cause is the death of her mother. She keeps an old photograph in her hands: a mother with her two sons. Arriving at the cemetery, she encounters the faces of all those she left behind.
Dimitris Katsimiris was born and raised in Rhodes. He has studied and worked as a social worker. In recent years he lives and works in Athens as an actor, writer and director in theater. He has written two theatrical plays and he has directed the multi-award-winning short film ‘Birthday’.
