Ida Hansen Eldøen

Ida is a Norwegian Writer, Director and Producer. She has a master degree in film studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and studied at Nordland Collages of Art and Film. As a gay filmmaker, she is interested in representations of queer characters on film, and want to contribute to make them as diverse as possible. Ida is best know for her short comedy "The Half Wall", which has been screened at several international film festivals. It won the audience award at West Nordic International Film Festival in 2018. Her short film "The Corner", won Best in Show at Wicked Queer: Boston International LGBTQ+ Film Festival in 2021 and her first animated short "This is Katharine" won Best Animation at LGBTQ+ Film Festival Poland in 2022.
