“The true identity of silkworms” deals with the discovery of Sara’s gender identity through curiosity and the approach to places not intended for her sex and in a context that does not allow the correct development of a gender identity own. The film questions the naturalized exclusion and discriminatory behaviors that reproduce society.
Javier Del Álamo
He studied Audiovisual Production in Palma de Mallorca. He has made several short films such as “Oil or Lemon” or “Rent a Dream”. He is currently studying Production at the International School of Film and TV in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, where he made his short film “The true identity of silkworms.”
