Maj-Briht i Helle su starije od 80 godina kada se konačno venčavaju u crkvi. Pred sveštenikom obećavaju da vole i neguju jedna drugu “u bolesti i zdravlju”. Ali odmah nakon venčanja Helle se ozbiljno razboli nakon moždanog udara. S obzirom da je Maj-Briht fizički onesposobljena, Helle je prisiljena da se preseli u starački dom. Maj-Briht joj nedostaje i čini sve što je u njenoj moći da budu zajedno koliko god je to moguće.

Maj-Briht and Helle are both over 80 years old when they finally are married in church. Before the priest, they promise to love and cherish each other ”in sickness and in health”. But shortly after the wedding, Helle falls seriously ill after a stroke. Since Maj-Briht herself has physical disabilities, Helle is forced to move to a retirement home. Maj-Briht misses her and does everything in her power for them to be together as much as possible.

Paula Gustafsson, born 1970 Stockholm/Sweden, and educated at Stockholm School of Dramatic Arts has made a couple of short films before and is now developing her first feature length documentary ”Shame and its possibilities”.
