Sa 16 godina, Ana je zatvorena u psihijatrijsku ustanovu pristankom svojih roditelja kako bi je izlečili od homoseksualnosti. Nakon pet godina ona je slobodna i traži devojku koja će je voleti uprkos njenom PTSD-u / posttraumatskom stresu. I nalazi takvu devojku u Martini. Verile su se i planiraju venčanje. Ali uprkos svemu Martinino strpljenje je pri kraju jer joj je jasno da umesto da se fokusira na izgradnju sadašnjeg života sa Martinom, Ana je fokusirana na svoju traumatsku prošlost. Bolesno je priča o ljubavi, izdaji, osveti, opraštanju.
Hrvoje Mabić
Rođen 1974. u Hrvatskoj. Diplomirao je 1997. filozofiju na Jezuitskom koledžu u Zagrebu. On je osnivač produkcijskog studija Incredibly Good Institution – Fade in, i njegov glavni producent od 1999. do 2002. Bio je jedan od inicijatora dokumentarnog serijala „ Direct“ gde je on autor i producent. Režirao je 30 epizoda tog serijala i ko- režirao još 30. Takođe je režirao mnogo objava javnog servisa, reklama i tv serijala “Porodica Dvornik” i “Ostati živ”. Od 2006. član je Hrvatske asocijacije filmskih režisera.
Born in 1974 in Croatia. In 1997, graduated philosphy at the Jesuit College in Zagreb. He is the founder of the production studio Incredibly Good Institution – Fade in and its main producer from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, he is the co-initiator of the documentary serial „Direct“ in which he is the author and producer. He has directed 30 episodes of that serial and co-directed 30 more. He has also directed many Public Service Announcements, commercials and TV serials „The Dvornik family“ and „Staying alive“. Since 2006 he is a member of the Croatian Association of Film Directors.

At the age of 16 Ana was locked up in a psychiatric hospital by her parents who arranged the treatment for curing her homosexuality with the hospital director. After five years she is free and longs for a girl who won’t find her crazy because of her PTSD condition. She finds one in her new love Martina. They get engaged and plan their wedding. However, Martina’s huge patience and devotion wanes with time as she finds Ana more obsessed with her traumatic past than with the life they’re sharing together. ‘Sick’ is a film about love, betrayal, revenge, and forgiveness.
