Eulália, a conservative 65-year-old mother, finds out that her son who emigrated to Germany became Fostter Riviera, the internationally awarded first Portuguese gay porn actor. From shock and disgust to desperately trying to understand him, Eulália embarks on an emotional journey that puts her values, expectations and perceptions to the test. With the computer and Facebook as her main sources of information and communication, Eulália’s quest to get closer to her son makes her click on unexpected websites, meet unlikely people and challenge herself to see her son perform a live sex show in the annual Portuguese erotic fair.

 

Jorge Pelicano

Jorge Pelicano, Portuguese director and filmmaker, was born in Figueira da Foz in 1977. After graduating in Communication & Public relations and finishing his postgraduate in Communication & Journalism, at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra, he began his career as video journalist. While travelling trough Portugal and around the world telling stories with social and human impact, the seventh art started gaining ground. In 2005. Pelicano premiered the documentary “Ainda Há Pastores?”, followed by “Páre, Escute, Olhe” (2009) and “Pára-me de repente o pensament” (2015). His documentaries have been screened in more than 20 countries and have won national and international awards. Since 2013, Jorge Pelicano has been entirely dedicated to the production of documentaries in the production company Ate AO Fim do Mundo. “Until Porn Do Us Part” (2018) is his latest work.
