Nil Bourgonje rođen je 1980. On je režiser nagrađivan za kratki film i komercijalni režiser koji živi u Amsterdamu. Nil je počeo kao stažista na internacionalnom dugometražnom filmu THE DEVILS DOUBLE. Diplomirao je sa kratkim trilerom BURN, koji je bio izabran od strane nekoliko internacionalnih filmskih festivala i nagrađivan. Nakon toga snimio je intenzivnu dramu ORDER. Nil je 2014. režirao PEACE AND QUIET, pobedivši na 48 Hour Film Project . Nedugo zatim, njegova komedija crnog humora dobila je dve nagrade na Filmapalooza u Holivudu. Usledio je NEIGHBOURS koji je dobio nagradu za najbolji film i scenario na Seven Regions Award Showu. Nilov sledeći kratki film DESERTED sniman je na lokaciji u Los Anđelesu, a premijerno je prikazan na Holandskom filmskom festivalu. BUDDY je njegov šesti kratki film.

Niels Bourgonje (1980) is an award winning short film and commercial director based in Amsterdam. Niels started out as an intern on international feature film THE DEVILS DOUBLE. He graduated with the short thriller BURN, which was selected for several international filmfestivals winning numerous awards. His follow-up was the high intensity drama ORDER. In 2014 Niels directed PEACE AND QUIET, winning the 48 Hour Film Project. Shortly after, the black comedy won two awards at the Filmapalooza in Hollywood. His follow-up NEIGHBOURS won Best Film and Screenplay at the Seven Regions Award Show. Niels’ next short DESERTED was shot on location in Los Angeles and premiered at the Dutch Film Festival. BUDDY is his sixth short film.
