Chela i Chikuita su obe poreklom iz bogatih porodica i zajedno su već́ više od 30 godina. Ali u skorije vreme, njihova finansijska situacija se pogoršala i počinju da prodaju svoje nasleđene stvari. Ali kada njihovi dugovi dovedu do toga da je Chikuita zatvorena zbog optužbi za prevare, Chela je prisiljena da se suoči sa novom realnošću. Vozeći po prvi put u životu, ona počinje da pruža lokalnu taksi uslugu grupi starijih bogatih dama. Pošto se Chela polako privikava na novi život, sreće se sa mnogo mlađom Angy, stvarajući svežu i osnažujuću novu vezu. Chela je konačno počela da izbija iz svoje ljuske i da se povezuje sa svetom, upadajući u svoju ličnu, intimnu revoluciju.

Chela and Chiquita are both descended from wealthy families in Asunción and have been together for over 30 years. But recently, their financial situation has worsened and they begin selling off their inherited possessions. But when their debts lead to Chiquita being imprisoned on fraud charges, Chela is forced to face a new reality. Driving for the first time in years, she begins to provide a local taxi service to a group of elderly wealthy ladies. As Chela settles into her new life, she encounters the much younger Angy, forging a fresh and invigorating new connection. Chela finally begins to break out of her shell and engage with the world, embarking on her own personal, intimate revolution.

Marcelo Martinessi

Born in Asunción, Paraguay in 1973, he is a director and screenwriter. He studied communication in his hometown, followed by film at the London Film School. His short films, which revolve around literature and memory, have screened at festivals including the Berlinale and Clermont-Ferrand. He was executive director of his country’s first public television station from 2010 up to the coup d’état in 2012. His attempt at coming to terms with the ensuing political chaos gave rise to his short film La Voz Perdida (The Lost Voice), which won Best Short at the 2016 Venice International Film Festival.
