Dario, sedamnaestogodišnji dečko iz Barankilje (Kolumbija) ima strast prema plesu. On to pokušava da sakrije od svoje majke koja se plaši da on neće izrasti u “pravog muškarca”. Ona ga primorava da provodi dane radeći u prodavnici svoj ujaka. Da li će uspeti da igra na karnevalu?

Darío, a 17-year-old boy from Barranquilla, Colombia has a passion for dance. He tries to keep it a secret from his mother, who is afraid that he won´t grow up to be a „real man“. Instead, she forces him to spend the day working in his uncle´s shop. Will he be able to dance in the Carnival parade?

Manuel Kinzer, Jorge A. Trujillo Gil

Manuel Kinzer (1977) studied Visual Communication at the art college in Kassel and cinematography at the German Film- and Television Academy in Berlin. In 2007 he founded the production company FILMGESTALTEN in Berlin and since then has produced various short films. Darío is his first work as a director.

Jorge A. Trujillo (1987) was born in Colombia and raised in Spain. He studied Audiovisual Communication (UPSA-University of Salamanca), cinema (Ramon Llull-Blanquerna University in Barcelona) and postgraduate in politics (UB-University of Barcelona). He participated in different social and journalistic projects in Spain and Colombia.
