Ovaj dokumentarac predstavlja priče o progonu i nasilju bez presedana kojima je brazilski civilno-vojni režim delovao protiv LGBT populacije i kako je LGBT populacija organizovala otpor, pretvarajući se u ključni deo procesa redemokratizacije. I pre puča iz 1964. postojale su predrasude, ali tokom tog perioda, LGBT populacija je smatrana neprijateljem tradicionalne porodice, morala i dobrog ponašanja.

It´s not the first time we fight for our love

This documentary recounts the unprecedented stories of persecution and violence with which the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship acted against the LGBT population and how this same group constituted its resistance, transforming itself into fundamental subjects of the redemocratization process. The coup of 64 did not introduce this prejudice, but, during that period, the LGBT population was considered an enemy of the traditional family, morality and good behavior.
