François Barbier

Graduated from a cinema school in Nantes and with a cinema degree in la Sorbonne Paris 3, François Barbier has directed La coccinelle et la souris his first fiction short movie, in 2012. The movie who tells the story of a kid confronted to death, was well received in festivals and had several prices. Then, François directed two other short movies, Eva et Margaux and Istoria Lumina. This last movie, directed during an autor residency in Romania, with the support of the International Organisation of francophonie and from the Romanian Cultural Institute, was selected a thirty times by international festivals until 2017. Bootyful is his fourth short movie.
