Anna se seli u London iz Rusije kako bi studirala dramaturgiju u školi gde je upoznala svoju devojku Emmu. Annina studentska viza uskoro ističe i one odlučuju da se venčaju i ostanu zajedno u Londonu. Pre toga, Anna mora da razgovara sa svojom konzervativnom mamom koja nema predstavu o seksualnoj orijentaciji svoje ćerke.

Anna moved from Russia to London to study at drama school where she met her girlfriend Emma. Now as Anna’s student visa expires they’ve decided to get married and stay in London together. But first Anna has to talk with her conservative mother who is unaware of her daughter’s sexual orientation.
Valentina Gordeeva is a media artist, independent filmmaker and writer from Russia based in London. Valentina has been working in film since completing her MA in Film & TV Production at Anglia Ruskin University in 2015. Her short films, including “Dreamer”, “US”, “Lola” and short documentaries “Street Art?” and “My mom, her summerhouse and other stuff” have been screened at various international film festivals. Her first feature-length documentary film “Miss USSR 2017” premiered at Moscow ArtDocFest 2017 and has since screened at international film festivals. Valentina’s recent short film “Rehearsal” is now on festival circle and has been already screened at Vancouver Queer Film Festival, North Carolina Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, BUSHO 2019 and is scheduled to be screened at Shnit Worldwide Short Film Festival 2019. At the moment Valentina works on various film projects including her debut feature-length script and a new short film.
